Helping schools and orphanages in Sri Lanka

Hi, If you stay in the Mount Lavinnia area, there are a number of projects where the really poor and needy still appreciate donations be it pens and other stationery equipment, clothes or even just interaction with English speakers. The Friends of Della and Don was set up after Della and Don were saved from drowning in the 2004 Tsunami and has grown to become a small but registered charity offering assistance to children in schools and orphanages in the area and beyond.

You can read more about what they do by visiting http://www.fodad.co.uk.

If you're visiting the area, please visit the website and get in touch to see how you can help.
