I have not camped in years but here are some listings. You can google or do a search for reviews or search for the name of a campground here;

Just just came back from a 10 day adventure through out Nova Scotia. We camped for seven days up on the Island and did the Cabot Trail. In Baddeck there are two main camp grounds Baddeck Cabot Trail and Bras D Or Lakes. Both are about 6 km.'s West of Baddeck. We stayed at Baddeck Cabot Trail. Nice pool and VERY clean washrooms. My wife, the clean freak, gave them a 10 / 10. Only drawback is that it is not on the water. Bras D Or Lakes is on the water. We talked with people who were camped there and we wished we have stayed there do to scenery You must get up to Meat Cove if you can. See my review.

Have fun

We stayed two nights in July at the Bras d'Or campground. It was very nice, clean, and convenient. We would stay there again. I guess you could say it's on the water, but it's not a big reason to stay here. .

Stayed at Baddeck Cabot Trail Campground...not sure why it was rated as 4+ in Nova Scotia brochure..more like a 1 or 2.....crowded in. Not all sites are level, no cable tv not that we cared much but wifi worked quite well compared to others. Cell service not good. Not exactly comfortable or peaceful. Clean perhaps and the people at registration very nice...cost effect. Just my first impressions for what its worth. We travelled in 30' 5th wheel. Would not stay here again.

ladt year stayed at Chesticamp in the National park and it was great plenty of room.
