Santa's Woods in Cavendish is great!

We just visited Santa's Woods and we were extremely happy and so were our twin 2 yr old boys. The staff was friendly and there were so many play areas my kids were kept busy for hours. If i had known i would have packed a lunch to eat at one of the many pinic tables. If you don't wish to have a pinic they offer in/out priviledges so you can leave to eat and come back and play some more. Some of the highlights for my kids were the large jumping castle, the cage where we could go in and play with kittens and the gingerbread house. I loved the ball pen because the kids were contained to one area (surrounded by fence) with a ton of balls and i could sit outside with the complementary coffee and watch without worrying about them taking off! This park is not your standard amusement park but well worth the money for a entire day of fun. My boys slept well after an afternoon of running through the woods from train to sled to sandbox to mini golf.

would recommend this to friends with young kids.

I've driven past this place a million times and never visited as a child. Glad to hear it has lots to offer. I actually drove by there a week ago and saw nobody. Mentioned to the g/f that I didn't know how it stayed afloat with the lack of business. Not to nitpick but it is actually in Rustico though :)

Three first time posters, all raving? Highly suspicious, and reported.

Personally, I love PEI....every square inch.....except for Cavendish and it's cheesey commercialism.

We took our kids there a number of years ago and it was completely run down and certainly not worth the money. Hopefully there have been some significant improvements since our visit.

It's not run down. It's a great place for kids. I don't know why TripAdvisor is removing positive comments from people. These were positive comments back from 2012. When I searched Santa's Woods, the first thing you see is "Santa's Woods is Awful". Those are comments made back in 2010. I'm one of many who do not agree at all with those negative comments. It's always the first place that my kids want to visit. It's a simple and thoughtful park. The fact that it's fenced, has sensory play areas, like the ball pen, waterbed and boppers to run through, make it an ideal place for my child who has Autism.

There is no indication why the posts were removed and it has been far too long for me to remember them. How do you know if they were positive comments considering this is your first ever post LA3757(maybe they were rude and an attacked on the property unfairly)? Maybe the posts were removed because it was determined they were either self-promotional(by the owner or an employee) or the user's IP address indicated they had multiple accounts(usually also an indication of self-promotion). Your comments seems rather suspicious to me, especially considering how you seem to know every little detail of the park. Forgive me if it is just a big coincidence, it seems suspicious is all.
