Beach Umbrellas

Hi. Is there a shop in town (el ancelote?) where you can buy a beach umbrella?

Thanks.

There are several little shops that have more touristy items. One is next door to Hotel Cinco and the other is on restaurant row. I can't recall seeing beach umbrellas - but I wasn't really looking for them. The closest BIG store is the Mega on your way out of PV. There is lots of shopping in Bucerias. There is a great row of restaurants right on Anclote beach, El Anclote being my favorite, where you can sit under their umbrella with your toes in the sand and order some drinks - and camp there all day. You'll probably spend less than the beach umbrella on the $9 bucket of beers. :)

Beach umbrellas, the kind you put in the sand yourself, usually with a carrying case are surprisingly difficult to find. We have four, all bought from vendors. I´ve never seen them for sale in supermarkets so I wouldn´t make a special trip to one just for that.
