Occupancy levels?

Greetings!!

Just wondering if anyone knows what the occupancy levels are usually like for mid-end September at RS & Grand Palladium?

Thanks! :)

Sept. is slow season.. but School is back in, so slower at resorts. It will be Hot and Humid. Sept is a good month to go., Oct. and Nov. great months.

One quick additional note: The 15th and 16th of September is one of Mexico´s many "July 1st" celebrations (long weekend) so you might want to plan around that. Otherwise, September is very low-season for everyone

Good luck.

My wife and I are planning a stay at the St. Regis Sept 14 thru the 21st. What impacts will the "July 1st" celebration have on our stay?

I have not stayed at the Palladium or the St. Regis, but I imagine you will be fine. I believe what most people are trying to avoid at the Palladium is a rush of Mexican nationals staying at the hotel. As the St. Regis is high end, I don't think they offer discounts to locals to fill the resort regardless of time of year, holidays, etc.

I rented a condo over Easter and there were plenty of people camping on the beach. With that came music, families and some nice atmosphere. I personally enjoyed it. Having said that the restaurants are expensive and those who were camping did not seem to be in the restaurants due to cost. I would imagine the same would be true of the St. Regis.

My two cents.

I spoke with my Starwood ambassador who contacted the St. Regis and they said it might not be a relaxing weekend during the celebration time as they expect to be full. We now moved our week stay from 21-28 Sep to avoid the crowds.
