Is there a disco at Akumal Beach Resort?

Different websites for this resort have different information and it's hard to tell which info is current. I have a feeling that the disco has been closed at ABR. Does any one know if this is the case?

Thanks in advance for your replies

Just returned from a week earlier this month. There is a theatre which was closed every night but one when the staff put on a broadway type show - it was good - they work hard.

Outside the main bar each night there was dj style music and line dancing with the staff from 9pm on.

wow nemom2boys!!

Sep 06 the staff had a show every night in the theater. There was a very good two person band playing everynight in the main bar. What a difference a year makes.

I've been under the impression that ABR has a disco that is open after the show. From what I understand, it's not exactly jumping, but when we were there last year they had one. I think it was open until one or two. Maybe they closed it. I don't think you're missing anything.
