Best a la cartes at GBP

Leaving next month and wanted to know what the latest reviews are on the GBP restaurants

Been reviewing the menus at

www.bahia-gourmet.com/en/losrestaurantes.htm

Think I'm gaining weight just reading these

My husband and I really enjoy the gourmet restaurants - Don Pablo, Arlequin, and Le Gourmet. We also like PortoFino, one of the Italian restaurants..... the appetizer buffet is excellent, and they have a wonderful filet mignon in some kind of wine sauce that is delicious. And the tiramisu is fantastic as well! We also enjoy the Mexican restaurant Tequila - but for different reasons... they have a wonderful tomato-based soup and a chicken dish that is fantastic, and if you get the churros when they're hot out of they fryer - also the margaritas there are the best!

Enjoy your son's wedding - I hope they treat you well at the Bahia! We'll be back in the spring.

I'm hoping that our 4 favourites continue to be the best.

- Arlequin

- Don Pablo

- Le Gourmet

- Mikado

We will be there Oct 22 - 29 for our 3rd time. I will report upon our return.

VSD,

we did Gran Tortuga the beginning of last month. Needless to say they rolled us out. If you want more of a particular cut just ask for it. Also try the Pineapple with cinnamon sugar. It is mouthwatering.

VSD

If you go to Gran Tortuga, just try very hard to have just a small taste of each offering. Been there 4 times and have never made it thru the whole menu.

If something really appeals to you, you can have seconds or thirds.

I agree with Karl, the pineapple and cinnamon dessert is awesome.

Oriental has been closed for over 2 years - alas the menus are a bit dated but I haven't found anything newer

The El Charro is gone too I believe. Portofino has been added (in Coba).
