Anyone done the dolphin sea trek?

Hi i just wondered if anyone had done the sea trek with the dolphins and if you enjoyed it. It is expensive but am willing to pay it if it is worth it. Thx

You have mentioned the word dolphin.

Unless you now protest about how much you hate dolphins in captivity, you shall feel the rath of a small group of super heroes trying to save every dolphin in the world and abuse anyone who disagree s with their opinion.

Pack your bags and prepare to be sent to hell and damnation!

In asnswer to your post though. We didn't go as on the trek as we had dolphins in our hotel. But some friends we know went on it and like you said, thought it was expensive, but also had a great time. The kids loved it.

I would do some research. There are many dolphin acitvities in this area each offering different experiences.

:-)

Thx for your reply, and putting me in the picture. I am now packing my bags and awaiting my punishment for ever suggesting such a thing. I guess I won't be the only one. :)

Oh no your not the only one. It pops up every couple of weeks.

There are many sinners who soon get a "education" and threads will drag on and on as people "debate"

If you type dolphins into the search box you ll come across some of the heated debates most of which with the usual suspects making an appearance.

I hope you have a great trip and enjoy your day with the dolphins if you choose to do it.

Sea Trek is like Snuba - expensive - Never have done this as you get to see much the same as snorkeling (imho)

As these events are located closer to Playa, you may get more responses in the PDC forum that the previous posts

Most of the bad dolphin posts have been because Bahia just built a very small captive dolphin pool at their resort which are against international standards, thus the uproar

Do your research - many who see the small Bahia dolphin pool are very upset

Saw the sea trek with the dolphins on a Xal Ha website for $126 for a 1 hour trek. if that includes your days admission into Xal Ha , then it is not such a bad deal. If that is over and above the high admission price , then I would definitely take a pass on it.

The website also says you can trek with the dolphins "in their natural habitat" ........... Well , I guess it is in Water , and better than a swimming pool.

Hi Damionsmum,

Glad you liked the replies, must say I'm just a little disappointed as I'm still waiting to be sent to hell. I thought it might save on my fuel bills this winter. It would be very hot down there lol.
