I will send you a recent report on this. It depends on whether or not it's windy. Snorkeling is excellent off Kantenah out deep when it's not windy. Usually quite good off shallow White Sand where there is a reef.

We were there last week. It is in the open and was quite windy, so snorkeling not so good. we did however go to Akumal beach and swam with at least a dozen turtles and several stingrays. Just a five minute taxi ride.

The last taxi price I saw was 205 pesos

Photog65: Please confirmn your price as well

imho, the taxis from Palladium are overpriced - goto the hwy and get a colectivo for 20-30 pesos each or bargain with a taxi driver - sometimes they will come down to the colectivo cost

It was poor last week due to the wind. So we went to Akumal beach and swam with dseveral sea turtles.
