Stan Laurel museum?!?

I am a total geek, as the idea of visiting the Stan Laurel museum in Ulverston sounds pretty exciting. My family, however, is less than enthusiastic. So I'd like an opinion. If you've been there, is it worth it?

If you're a fan, it's a must

To people who aren't fans????

well, it'll look like someones living room plastered with newspaper clippings. A lot of which are not even directly linked to the great duo.

However,

As I said, Deffo worth a visit if you're a fan

Must agree with previous post, brill if you are a fan!! I went in with my husband because of that, not a lot to see but they also show a film as well in a tiny cinema. Its not only a museum to Stan Laurel but to Oliver Hardy also.

Just a thought but you could bribe your family as there is a wildlife park in Dalton which is four or five miles away! Ulverston also has nice cafes they could have a nice wait, try Gillams, or Thursday is market day, we have cobbled streets and some old buildings and some old pubs.......
