Driving from Toronto to Cleveland

I'm planning to rent a car in Toronto and drive to Cleveland, next august, after a visit to Niagara Falls.

Could you suggest some places to visit along the way to Cleveland?

Between Niagara Falls and Cleveland it is only about three hours - you could stop in Geneva to visit some of the Ohio wineries (visit the Geneva Ohio forum for more information), and there is a casino in Erie if you like that too!

As the previous poster suggested, you could visit some wineries in the Geneva area. For more information and location of these wineries and also a driving tour of the 17 covered bridges in Ashtabula County go to the Ashtabula County Visitor Bureau at www.accvb.org In Lake County, you could go to the Kirtland Temple, the first Mormon Temple built by Joseph Smith and the Mormans on their trek west. It is a National Historic Monument. You can get more information at www.kirtlandtemple.org When you're in Kirtland, you can stop in at Holden Artboretum, if you like nature walks. More information can be found at www.holdenarb.org Geneva on the Lake has a state beach and a touristy strip. The Old Firehouse Winery is there. Hope this helps to make your drive pleasant and interesting.
