I have seen the West Side Market on a couple different shows, not sure if one of them was DD&D. http://www.westsidemarket.org/

AH HA! I just found this with a quick google search. tvfoodmaps.com/s4/…Cleveland

Do you have a smart phone? There's an app called TV Food Maps that you can search for local restaurants on that and other popular food shows.

See if the Doubletree will transport you to and from Sokolowski's in Tremont. It's a reasonably priced, Polish American cafeteria. See post 87 here:

It was featured on "No Reservations" and "Best Thing I Ever Ate."

Momocho's in Ohio City probably is the best actual DD&D restaurant that is close to downtown. You could walk there from the West 25th St. rail station or take a cab. If you walk, have a GPS or a good map (the back of the AAA Northeast Ohio map, or print out a map at thisiscleveland.com).

Momocho's specializes in Mod Mex, but, if you like Mexican, some prefer Orale, which is a shorter walk from the West 25th station than Momocho.

Sokolowski's doesn't take reservations, but they are a good idea elsewhere, especially at Momocho's.

Bon Bon Cafe near the West Side Market was on Food Network. ABC the Tavern was on Food Network and is also near the West Side Market. The West Side Market was on The Travel Channel..blah blah blah..

Just go to West 25th and pick a place. There are many great restaurants and bars downtown and near downtown. Go explore for yourself. Just because they were not on TV doesn't mean they are not GREAT!
