A Few Hours Of Fun

We (couple - age mid 30s and mid 40s) are flying in and out of Columbus this weekend, but will be in Cincinnati on Saturday night. We have all day Sunday to make it back to Columbus for our evening flight and are possibly looking to have some fun during the day that isn't too far from the Columbus airport. (We will have a rental car) We are looking to grab some food and beers/cocktails. I searched this site and found that the Easton Town Center has restaurants/bars. Does anyone recommend this or other areas that would be fun or something that shouldn't be missed? Also, will things be closed because it's Easter Sunday?

Thanks for any help!

Easton will be the closest area for you. It also will give you quite a bit to do in one move. As far as availiabilty check out the website at www.eastontowncenter.com.

Definitely Easton will keep you busy, well fed and thirst quenched!

The Short North is also a 10 minute taxi from the airport. Ask them to drop you off at Hyde Park Grill, and make your way north on High, cross over and back down. The hostess at any restaurant should be able to get you a cab, or summon one on the street, it's legal in Columbus. Some shops, because they are smaller and independantly owned, may not be open on Easter. That may give Easton the advantage.

Enjoy your day, Binti

Thanks Dole and Binti! Looks like Easton it is. We will be coming up that day from Cincy - so we might hang out longer there, if we're having fun. But at one point during the day, we do want to be closer to the airport.

Thanks again!

Most of the stores may be closed on Sunday because of Easter. You might want to call ahead to see. The restaurants will most likely be open though. There is a movie theater there too.

Easton is close to the Airport. That is the only area close to the airport I can think of right now.

Have fun !!
