I have looked a lot online but it is not clear that how much time is needed to travel to umananda temple from sukleshwar ghat and then return?

Some people said the trip took 3 hours however the boat takes 15 minutes from ghat to island, I am tight on time and want to know how much time does it take to reach the temple from fancy bazar

The island can be seen right from Sukreswar ghat. Motor boats/ferries would take around 20-30mins to reach the island, may take a slightly longer during the dry season and due to the presence of sand bars in the dry river bed.

The travel time by boat is around 20-30 mins, depending if you take the big ferry's run by State govt or the small ferry's. However since it is monsoon and Brahmaputra is flowing with full might, travelling by the small boats might be a scary but overwhelming experience for first timers. It is advisable to take the big boats. Read more here http://www.travelspeak.in/umananda-temple/
