Knaresborough day trip with dog

Please can anyone tell me how dog friendly Knaresborough is? Thinking mainly cafes/tea rooms. We'll be visiting half term week in October.

There are a number of cafes with outside seating especially along Waterside. Lovely town. Enjoy.

from the A59 road bridge, walk down waterside past the boats and cafes. carry on to the next bridge, go right and then 1st left down through the houses. this path will take you through the woods where the dog can be let off while you gawp at the big houses on other side of river. the big blue one is where paul daniels lived when he owned mother shiptons, you will need lead back on through caravan site to the next bridge. return down other side of river, minor road. back to middle bridge. turn right up to lights then left into centre of knaresborough. look for oldest chemists, castle worth visiting. lots of history there! enjoy!
