Overnight is Oklahoma City

We are traveling across the country and will spend one afternoon/evening in Oklahoma City. Where in your opinion is a good place to stay where we can walk to restaurants, shopping or attractions? Thanks for any advice you can give us.

Walk? :)

Bricktown/downtown is your best bet. OKC is pretty spread out and there really isn't a place that meets all your requirements, but the downtown area probably is as close as you can get. Attractions downtown include the Myriad gardens, the Bombing Memorial and the OKC Museum of Art.

There are a number of hotels and a decent number of restaurants. And it's all within walking distance of each other.

Are you planning specific activities? What are you interested in doing? There are numerous things to do from National Cowboy Hall of Fame, Thunder basketball game, great downtown/bricktown area...
