Hotel/Restaurant

Family vacation, stayed at Quality Inn,or rather NO QUALITY Inn. From the unprofessionally dressed staff to the black ring around the pool and stained bedding, there was absolutely NO quality here.

Travel down the road to the newest hotel instead (blue and white sign). Next to that hotel is an awesome steak house with yummy ribs. There is also a 50's style diner that will take you back to the days of good food, generous portions and low prices!

Hi! What was the name of the diner there? Are you sure this was in Cannon Beach or Seaside? Were you referring to the Microtel Hotel and Bigfoot Pub & Grub next door (Seaside) they serve ribs on Sun. night and there is the Riverside BBQ that sounds like the 50's style diner you may be referring to, we had lunch there yesterday. Let us know and welcome! :)

I remember Big Foot Pub and Grub! That is where syrahgirl and her husband took their own wine glasses.

I never did find out why..... cleanliness issues? when people start bringing their own glasses to a pub, what next, their own wine? lol

syrahgirl, I read on another forum where you reported on what you ate yesterday and that your husband took surfing lessons ?

Not really relevant to this post but just curious.. don't they surf in California anymore ? lol ... waiting to take lessons where the water turns you blue, is brave, very brave.
