wineries that allow picnics?

We will be touring wine country around McMinnville in a coupe of weeks. Are there any wineries that have places that allow you to bring your own picnics? Or are there any that serve food (lunch).

Thanks

Have Fun

1. Re: wineries that allow picnics?

Almost all wineries will allow you to bring your own picnic lunches. Many of them will have patios or other areas with tables and chairs. Several offer special tastings with food and wine pairings, but other than King Estate in the Eugene area can't think of any wineries that have a full-scale kitchen or restaurant for ordering a meal. For picnic fixings, the best place in the area is the Red Hills Market in Dundee. A new place in Newberg, Storrs Smokehouse, has excellent barbecue fare to take out. It's at 310 E. First Street (Hwy 99W northbound).

I know this an old post but if anyone is looking for a beautiful place to picnic in the McMinville area, Anne Amie has stunning views and a nice outdoor patio area in the back. Excellent wines, pretty labels and a very friendly staff also. :).

Anne Amie is the former Chateau Benoit winery. The views are, indeed, spectacular.
