Pendleton Roundup

I missed getting an RV space by just a few hours, MAN I had no idea they were going to be gone within an hour of taking reservations. I hope someone here can help me. This will be my first trip to the Roundup. I'm traveling in a 34ft motorhome with an elderly male and an infant with her mom just over a year old so I will need hook ups to run the AC. We will also need a shuttle service or easy access to the Roundup. I budgeted 50 / night as the rv place recommended last Dec when I called to get reservations. They told me I had to call back in Feb,, I did, they are sold out. Help

HI, I'm an RVer but have never tried to stay during the Round Up. Not sure which RV park you called, but if you click on this blue link below, you will find information and reviews about three of them in the area.

I don't know about shuttles - the RV park at the casino may have one. That's the most likely I think.

I went to the Round-up last year and lodging was the biggest logistic issue. We ended up staying in Hermiston at a hotel. A big source of information is the Chamber of Commerce- They have links for RV areas-such as the community college- specifically set up for the Round-up- although they are 'dry' campgrounds, but water, portapotties available... pendletonchamber.com/visit/…

Perhaps if you call the chamber and expain the situation, they may have some thoughts of where to look. I called them a few times and they were very helpful. Shuttles are everywhere- the above website has shuttle routes and campground info.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!

You're welcome. You also might try getting on a "waiting" list if they have one at the casino. Between now and then there is a chance somebody will cancel, you never know.
