Places to stop on Route 26 between Seaside & Portland?

Travelling with a girlfriend & my baby in late July from Canada to Seaside, then to Portland. We'll be driving on route 26 between Seaside and Portland.

Wondering if there were any cool places to stop along route 26. Farms, flea markets, wineries, anything really.

Thanks!

best place to stop is Camp 18 along 26... old logging camp/restaraunt. The food is average, but its got alot of interesting logging items lying about. There is also the Jim Dandy farm closer to Portland, I've never been there but looks interesting and been there forever...

Other than the aforementioned camp, there isn't much between Seaside and Hillsboro. Once in the Greater-Metropolitan-Portland-land-Area, then there is more to do. There is more to do/see on US 30 from Astoria, if that is your goal.

Oh, that said, there is a zipline park in Gaston, I think.

There is a single lane road that drives along the Nehalem River. It is very pretty and there is a camp site that would make a good place to have a picnic.
