which hwy is easier to drive in oregon from portland to the coast, hwy 6 or hwy 26?

Hwy 26. It's straighter and wider with far more traffic and gets much more road maintenance than Hwy 6. If there is a cold wet storm, both will have snow.

In the snow, I MUCH prefer hwy 6. It is basically one long grade verses the ups and downs of hwy 26.

In all other weather conditions, hwy 26 is the way to go.
