local wineries?

Hey everyone!

My husband and I will be in the area at the end of this week. We are coming in down to go to Hershey and Christmas Candylane. We are looking for something to do during the day. Are there any local wineries that are open this time of year. Upon searching the web I found one but it said they have spring/summer hours. It is also my birthday so we are looking for something a little special. Thanks in advance for any help....

Happy birthday early! Yes, there are several wineries in the area that are open for tastings that you might enjoy visiting.

Westhanover Winery is about 20 minutes from Hershey. If available, try their ice wine.

Moon Dancer Vineyards and Winery is about an hour from Hershey. They have music on Friday from 6-9 and Saturday and Sunday from 2-5.

Mount Hope Estate & Winery has their tasting shop open and also is having "A Dickens of a Christmas" in the mansion. Tickets are about $20.

Last, but not least, here is the website that lists most of the state's wineries;

Hope you come back in the summer for a picnic and concert at one of the wineries locally. I really enjoy the Saturday nights concerts at Nissley.
