Visit Cornwall has some good suggestions about what to do over the Easter period... www.visitcornwall.com/content/easter-families

...but there's lots to do in St Ives itself. The Tate gallery does Family Talks and 'Super Sundays' for the smaller ones, there's a small scenic train that runs from St Ives to St Erth, passing through Carbis Bay and Lelant (£8 family return) and there's surf lessons available on Porthmeor beach.

In August there should also be outdoor film experiences in various locations throughout Cornwall. I went to two showings last year, ('Top Gun' at an air hangar at Newquay Airport and 'Point Break' on the headland at Godrevy) and they were fantastic, despite the weather. I'd highly recommend and it's something the whole family can enjoy (even teenagers!) eventcornwall.co.uk/coming-soon/…

Have a great holiday!

Try Coast 2 Coast Go Karts on the outskirts of Hayle. Get a pasty from Philps and an ice cream from Mr B's.

Finish the day off with a walk around St Ives.

St Michaels Mount, Lanhydrock and Geevor are a must. (bit more for adults though).

Lands End is not so good and Sennen Cove is a large beach, good for surf, on par with the beach just off your holiday park.

the Tate arcade does Family Talks and 'Super Sundays' for the abate ones, there's a baby breathtaking alternation that runs from St Ives to St Erth, casual through Carbis Bay and Lelant
