Cornwall - Sun Valley Holiday Park

Hi

Just wondered if anyone could recommed Sun Valley Holiday Park near Mevagissey, we normally go to Heligan Woods, but no longer have our own tent and the statics there are rather expensive and they overcharge for dogs. So we thought we would try Sun Valley instead as we dont want to be too far from Mevagissey. We have looked into nearly all the holiday parks along Pentenwen road, (unless there are any we havent found yet), and Sun Valley seems the nicest and the cheapest. So any reviews would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Michelle

Hi Michelle

My parents have stayed at SV many times over the past 20 years and really like it there. You are halfway between St Austell ( and it's new shopping centre) and Mevagissey and are close to Pentewan and "The Ship" pub which does good food.

Thanks, I know the area pretty well, and plan to move there in the next five years, I had never been to Sun Valley before so am looking for some honest reviews on it. As its so close to the road, does the site suffer from road noise does anyone know, and what are the statics like that take dogs, as we have been to holiday parks before where you get second rate statics as a 'punishment' for owning a dog.

Looking forward to replies
