Need help with lodging...and fast!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.

I have a bit of a problem here in that my girlfriend and I will be traveling to St. Austell on the 18th of January and have no place to stay!

We were innitially going to be staying with my girlfriend's aunt but her partner has suddenly become very ill and due to the circumstances of her illness, we will no longer be able to stay with them.

We are both from other countries so do not know the area and due to this being an unexpected expense, price is going to be important, unfortunately.

We are not looking for fancy, just a private room with our own bath or shower. We will be staying for eight nights. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Thank you

google for B&Bs. Some will be closed at this time of year, but the ones that arent, I wouldnt expect to be expensive at this time of year, you ought to be able to get something at around £40-£50/night or even less (for both of you). Phoning would be advisable rather than email IME smaller B&Bs can be slow to respond to email or they may not have it

www.travelodge.co.uk

There is one in St Austell - near a main road but almost certainly has rooms.

As mentioned St Austel lower on the list of prettiness but you'll be handily placed. And if your rellies live in town should be easy to go visit whereas Mevagissey will be a hefty cab fare away.
