Just wandering if enough to see and do in Byron Bay for a weeks stay.
Depends what you want to do. I could stay for a week if I used it as a base for exploring more of the coast & the hinterland.Edited: 13 October 2017, 00:01
It could take you that long to find a parking spot.
Wow, some real differing views above. I spent a week there is July and absolutely loved it. But as someone said above, depends what you want to do. What I loved was the great beach walks, including up to the lighthouse, fabulous cafes/restaurants and a coupe of good chilled pubs with local craft beer. So what's not to love. But yes parking can be a pain, but if you have a car spot at hotel, so as I did and leave it there and just walk everywhere.
Depends what you want to do, hang out at the beach for a week wonderful; chill out for a week
Despite the crowds and traffic, there is something about Byron that instantly relaxes me and I visit often for weekends and holidays over the past 35 years.
I tend to agree with Big_Jim. What do you want to do there? The place is full of champagne socialists, wannabe models and weedy bogans. Not to mention the lot that gets down there for weekends from Brissie.
Might as well go to Gold Coast, at least for a base. A lot cheaper and more opportunities.
