looking for a bar

I'm heading out to Lancaster for a couple days (staying at the Best Western there), and was wondering if anybody could recommend a cool little bar... be it a laid-back place, a sportsbar, a "punk bar", jazz lounge, etc (Yes, my tastes are pretty eclectic, I just like genuine atmosphere).

In Lancaster, PA? The buckle of the Bible Belt in PA? Umm, I don't know about bars. It's best to check with the PA Dutch Country Visitors Center, 501 Greenfield Road, Lancaster, PA.

Here's the webpage for the bar at the hotel that you are going to be staying in. It may not have the atmosphere that you like

so, you may want to check around the neighborhoods of Franklin and Marshall College or Millersville University to see if there are bars in those areas more to your liking ...

yeah, I was checking out the bar. Looks nice. I saw there was a decent concert venue in Lancaster too, Echo and the Bunnymen are playing. Might be worth it!

I was also checking out the Stoudt Brewery website too, I may have to make a trek up 272.

Hope I caught you before you left. B.K. (before kids) we always went to Bube's Brewery when we visited Lancaster. In fact, if you're interested in beer there are also quite a few good microbreweries in the area. But for a place to hang out, this one if the best:
