Best hotel for a couple in their 20s?

My boyfriend and I are looking to stay in Lancaster for a week. We're looking at the Eden Resort, which looks amazing, but we aren't sure if there is much to do in terms of nightlife (bars, pubs, dancing, entertainment, etc.) Does anybody have any suggestions? Thank you!

I can't help with where to go, as I do the touristy things and shopping. However, I think the eden is a good choice for a young couple, and it puts you closer to downtown, where you will probably find what you are looking for, rather then where I stay , which is closer to the farms and touristy things. I'm sure others will have more suggestions. Enjoy

Actually, I would recommend just staying downtown if you want to be close to nightlife - then you can just walk. There are 2 options, The Lancaster Arts Hotel is a boutique hotel, and Lancaster Marriott is a large Marriott convention center right on the square. The best club in the City is the Chameleon. Popular bars for young professionals include Fenz, Iron Hill Brewery, and Annie Bailey's pub. The Belvidere has jazz in their cocktail lounge depending on what night you are there. The Village is a dance club, but I never really liked that scene - just me, when I was 24, I certainly had lots of friends that went there. Of course, that was a few years ago, so I don't know if it is still popular. In the summer time, Marion Court is a bar/restaurant with a huge outdoor patio area that gets filled with 20 something's. You could also take in a Barnstormers baseball game for a more relaxed evening. I'll look up some links for you and do another post with those. Have fun! Lancaster City is actually a really fun small city with lots of art galleries and little restaurants. And it isn't hard to drive in and out of to get to the other stuff you want to see out in the country.

Hopefully that's all of it. You'll see the first link is regarding events in the city. If you are there the first or 3rd friday night of the month, expect things to really be hopping if the weather is nice. Feel free to ask any more questions about restaurants, etc. Just so you know, you really won't find nightlife outside of the city, so it really is your best bet.

Stay downtown so you won't have to drive.

My 27 yr old daughter and friends go to The Brickyard and Marion Court. Although if you do decide to stay at the Eden, you are still close to downtown and it is a nice motel.
