Accommodation

Where`s the best place to stay in Lancaster? We`ve only got the one night unfortunately and would just like to get "first" impressions of the Amish Country and its people without getting involved in shopping / outlets or funparks!

If you want the place that you stay to be as much part of your experience in Lancaster as where you eat and what you choose to do and see, then you'll definately want to stay in one of the county's fine Bed & Breakfast establishments. You can look here for reviews. They are all very different, but all clean and have wonderful innkeepers who will help you make the most of your time in Lancaster. Another good place to find a list of B&B's is www.authenticbandb.com

Enjoy your stay!!

Strasburg, PA will put you in an area where you will see the Amish going about their daily lives. There is also an Amish village that you can visit to get a one stop overview of Amish Life. There are also numerous bed and breakfast places in the area.
