Comped alcohol at Mt Airy

Now that Sands is comping alcohol, heard Mt Airy and Hollywood are too. Any body get a "free" drink at Mt Airy lately?

I haven't been back to Mt. Airy in over a month even though it is 10 minutes from my house. Our local news has said that there is a new person in charge of marketing/promotions which I have seen first hand in my lack of offers.

The owner just got his license back and is now allowed on the property. We shall see if he changes anything. I think if they were comping alcohol, it would have been on the news, as Mt. Airy is a hot topic here locally and always in the news.

I doubt they will comp alcohol anytime soon, as they now charge for bottled water even while you are playing. They don't seem to know too much about this business in my opinion!

We were at Mt Airy this past Sunday. Gold Card members can get 2 drink coupons ( each good for a drink up to $10) out of the kisoks. Coffee and soda are still free. If you have a Silver Card you can also get water and cappacinos free, otherwise you have to pay for them.

As to the new Marketing Manager, don't expect any improvements, I knew the past Mkg Mgr, she was excellent but her hands wee tied. She recently left.

Mt Airy has been terribly mismanged as any casino veteran will tell you. We've cut out play there very significantly. Fortunately, I banged them for over $4000 on this last trip...Walked out happy.

We were there this past Sunday, asked the server about comp alcohol. Answer was a big fat NO. Did not tell us about the coupon at the kiosk or anything, just NO. We are gold card holders. In fact, that trip was our last. We are in the middle of Sands, Mt Airy and Mohegan. Mohegan seems like a dungeon to me. Sands was bright, new machines and a comp drink, we will be going to Bethlehem in between our AC trips.

Re Swamper99's note: I don't blame you in the least for being disgusted...You'll agree with me that Mt Airy has been badly mismanaged sice they opened..and that includes some very surly cocktail servers...The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing there....She should have told you about the kisk coupons...That she had to know about...As to Bethlehem, They don't even have the player's club point system defined yet. I don't expect it will be any better than Mt Airy's (which sucks). My wife visied Bethlehem last week, carefully checked the video poker pay tables and said they were very poor.

Plus they charge $7 for Valet parking (outrageous!).

Do they also charge for self parking?

My daughter and I went back to Mt Airy about a month ago. Valet parking is still free as it always was.

I was able to get free drinks on the floor, but what a pain in the neck to get a lukewarm beer!! First the CW informs me that there will be a charge of $3.50. I then tell her that I have comped drinks. She has me take my card out of the machine. She proceeds to write down the card number, then has me sign for the drink. My drink arrives in a small plastic cup. If it was 6 ounces, it was alot. The whole procedure from beginning to receipt of my drink took over 30 minutes.

I am going back to the Sands in Bethlehem from now on!

Went to Beth Sands this past sunday. No problem with

the comps/cash. In fact had $125 cash for Aug, had $6.60 at Mt Airy. I'm no rocket scientist, but...., Also had $49 in comp from one previous trip. We're finished with Mt Airy, it's Sands for us, takes the same amount of time to get to each. Sands gives more and the atmosphere alot better, newer machines, etc.
