1st Trip to Pittsburgh for Steelers Game-need help!

Huge Fan, and have decided this is the year I am going to make it to a Steelers Game! But need help...

Need recommendation on where to stay, where to be, the best places to see, to eat, to drink; so prime location where it is easy to get around the town and to the game.

Going into town on a Friday and Staying till Monday. My plan is to go In November.

So all recommendation and information is welcomed. And thank you in advance for your responses.

There are many posts on this topic.

What is your price range for hotel? Downtown 4 star can often be won on Priceline or Hotwire. Greentree is very close if your budget is tight or you can't win a room. If location is priority, Spring Hill Suites is right there.

Any of the places on the North Shore, from Bettis Grille 36 to McFaddens are good for pre/post game fun.

South Side for partying and people watching, Strip District for unique food shopping.

I would book now. Rooms (especially for games) book fast. Bettis grill in the North side is nice and 86 grill in south side is fun too.

If you are a big football fan, check out the Heinz History Center. They usually have football memorabilia.

Try the Marriott Residence Inn Pittsburgh North shore. It's right smack dab next to the Ballpark, which makes it SUPER close to Heinz field. It's nice, and there are some sports bars about one block away.
