Penguins game

We just got back to Toronto after watching the Pens play on Friday night. We took advise from this forum and stayed at the Hampton Suites. Great location for venue, free parking and reasonable breakfast. We walked to the Strip the next day and enjoyed experiencing the Steelers fever. Our 12 year old son and nephew had a great time - big Crosby fans!! Thanks again for the help.

So how far is the Hampton Inn Pittsburgh Greentree to the Consol Energy Center? We're looking for something within walking distance. Thanks!

To the last poster...Please make sure you are talking about the correct hotel. The Hampton Inn Greentree (on Trumbull Drive) is no where near downtown; google says 5 miles. It's in more of a suburban area, but they might have a downtown shuttle? The Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Pittsburgh (on Smallman Street), is definitely walking distance - about 0.8 miles.
