Driving to Falling Water

I am going to rent a car to drive to Falling Water this Monday. I will be staying at the Marriott City Center and renting from a nearby Hertz location.

I will leave downtown Pittsburgh around 9 am, maybe a little earlier and return probably between 4 and 5 pm. I have mapquested the route and I'm good with directions, so I'm not worried about that, but I am wondering how bad traffic is likely to be at that time.

I will head east on 376 to Monroeville and back west on that route probably after 4 pm. How bad is traffic likely to be at that time?

Heading out from downtown in the late afternoon can be bad (at least by Pittsburgh standards, which isn't too bad) but coming towards town from Fallingwater I wouldn't expect much delay. Maybe a bit before the Squirrel Hill tunnels.

Enjoy Fallingwater, it is a very interesting place.
