Penn State vs. Iowa tomorrow

We are heading to the Penn State game tomorrow...it's a 3:30 start time and I would like to walk about the downtown area to get a feel for the town. Any suggestions and also besides tailgating, what is there to do once in the stadium that I shouldn't miss. Is it possible to park at the stadium and then walk into the downtown area?? Any help is appreciated...thank you!

It's about 2 miles from dowtown to the stadium. You sure can walk through the campus. Stop at the Creamery on campus for some awesome ice cream. Here's the offical visitors guide to the campus

There is also the CATA bus system that you can catch around the stadium to go downtown. There isn't really much to do in the stadium itself, but you can walk through the PSU All Sports Museum (adjacent to the stadium) which is pretty cool (esp if you're a PSU fan). Tons of restaurants, bars and shopping downtown which is also quick walk to campus. And the Creamery is a do not miss sight on campus!

Enjoy the game....we'll be there!
