Another question about possible beach wedding ceremony spot.

Hi. Sorry, I forgot to follow up with a question about a suggestion for "Ocean View pavilion or Mosquito Beach". Where are they located and do you think they have nearby parking for a few cars? Pavillion sounds like good idea if it's drizzling. Thanks in advance for your help.

The Oceanview Pavilion is located on the site of the old Oceanview Hotel, south of Ballards Inn and The Post Office building. There is some street parking available at the entrance. www.oceanviewfoundation.org to see their website and contact them.

Mosquito Beach is located on the west side of Corn Neck Road across from Scotch Beach. There is a small parking area and street parking in that area. There is a pretty dock that runs out to the beach. The drawback, for a wedding, on a busy August day, is that this is the dock that all of the boaters in New Harbor come in to when they go to the beach. It is very pretty though.

Perfect info. I will study maps of the island again to see where everything is in relation to our accommodations

at the Island Home Inn and dinner at The Manisses Hotel. Maybe we can avoid a lot of car travel.

Thanks once again for your help!
