The big difference (for folks like us from CT and NJ) is that there is no icy chill and there is no snow. The palmettos are ever-green. Even some flowers will be blooming in February. If the sun is strong, you might even enjoy lying out in a protected area.

February is a great time for touring around Charleston ... but not for a beach vacation!

Indeed. Feb is a "transition" month and can be gorgeous or chilly, but last Feb I overheard a couple from the north say "At home, we'd be wearing shorts in this weather".

On average - plan on 40's at night; low 60's day, some rain.
