I don't want to drive into the HD from our hotel so what is the best way to get there from our hotel?

Thanks for the info. Where is the best safe place where we can park all day to tour the city? We will have are car loaded with items because we are heading back up north.

Put as much as you can in the trunk (which you always do, I'm sure) and park at any of the garages, we've never had a bit of problem parking in Charleston.
