1 night before a cruise

We are looking for an inexpensive place to stay for 1 night before we take a cruise. We need somewhere that we can leave our car for a week. Anyone have any suggestions along with the cab costs to the port from said lodging? Thanks!

The link below should give you some info. You will not find anything in the downtown area, I believe those listed are in North Charleston.

The Park and Go lot near the airport is inexpensive and very professionally run. if you leave your car with them, you can take their free shuttle to the airport and then a $14 apiece shuttle to the cruise terminal.

If the Hampton Inn on SR78 (University Blvd) is in the list, check w/them. it is out a ways, but they do provide a shuttle and they are in an area where there are one or two decent restaurants and they do provide the parking. Hotel is very nice.

I have used the Park & Go ever since it opened. They are very nice and have always done a great job! Good idea.
