sights around Hominy Grill

Flying in Sat morning and we will be waiting until 4:00 when we can check into our housing on Isle of Palms. We plan to take breakfast or lunch at Hominy Grill. Are there things to see close by, places to walk to ? We leave this weekend!!

Not really. It is near the medical center and a couple miles from the historic district. You might want to pick a place in the historic district so you can stroll around without moving the car. It might give you time for a carriage ride. Maybe SNOB, Magnolia etc.

Yes, it is near the Medical University Hospital. Lots of medical offices, some residences, nothing special to see in that area.

If you lunch at Hominy, you might want to have a drink at either the courtyard, or open air bar at Fuel, a very casual spot less than one block away. I agree there's not much to see in the immediate area, but you could take a very short cab ride into the historic district and wander around there.
