Accessibility of King Charles Inn to Historic District?

How convenient is the King Charles Inn to the Historic District? I am looking for lodging that would be in the Historic District that is around the $200/night range for this time of year. Any suggestions?

It's right there, is one of the best deals you will find. If it works, take it, includes parking, as well.

It is walkable to all the things in the historic district. Other budget friendly locations include Hampton Inn Historic District and Days Inn Historic District. Most any hotel that says "historic district" will work, you do NOT want "downtown". Not walkable to much of anything.
