How are the azaleas now?

Hi all,

I was planning to go to Charleston last weekend, but it rained most of the weekend, so I am going this weekend. This will be my first visit! I was excited about going to see the azaleas at Middleton Plantation. But, now I'm wondering if the heavy rain and wind put a damper on them them last weekend. Anyone in Charleston now or this week? How are the azaleas? Thanks!!

Azaleas are just about over. Don't let that stop you from visiting Middleton Place, Magnolia Gardens, Cypress Gardens, or Mepkin Abbey. These are centuries-old gardens with plenty to see all spring and summer.
