Holiday Festival of Lights on Thanksgiving night

We are planning on doing a family trip Thanksgiving weekend. We will be coming into the area some time in the late afternoon to early evening on Thanksgiving day. It has been a few years since we have seen the lights and would love to do it again. We thought about doing this first, on our way in, to start our trip. Would it be very crowded on Thanksgiving night? If so, we would be able to do another night.

If you can see the lights before Thanksgiving, the park will probably be less crowded. Lots of people make the James Island Festival of Lights an annual thing. The Thanksgiving holiday weekend is popular!

OK thanks :). We will not be able to see them before Thanksgiving. Maybe Friday would be less busy? Or the whole weekend is busy? If so, that's fine. It will still be fun.

If you cannot get there before T-day, Thanksgiving night should be fine. If you go early, other people will still be digesting their big afternoon dinners. Have fun!
