looking for a decent condo/house near the inlet

We have rented a house for the majority of our guests for a family reunion on Ocean Blvd, .near the inlet, but need to find small accomodations for a family of 4 close by. Doesn't matter if it is on the beach. Also are there any pet friendly close by? (not a must - but just wanted to explore all options)

By close, do you mean walking distance or is driving a mile or so OK? There are no condos on that end of the island. Your best bet is to look on VRBO.com and see if you can find a small cottage/house nearby.

Condos are located on the Wild Dunes end of the island and also in the area next to the pier/commercial area.

within 2-3 miles would be good. Are there any condos within that proximity?

The entire island is only 7 miles long and 1 mile wide. Sea Cabins condos and Oceanside condos would be within the distance you describe, both are by the IOP pier and adjacent to the commercial area with restaurants, shops, etc.

You can find these on VRBO and also by contacting a local realty/rental agency.

Since they are owned individually, the decor and up keep varies by owner. Be sure to ask for photos of the specific property you are considering.

What time of year are you coming? How long will you need the additional condo? During the summer season most things only rent by the week.

Browse the Island Realty site in addition to VRBO.
