March travel

How is weather is March for Isle of palms? Able to sit by pool or out on beach, bike, etc.? Thinking of husband and myself going for a few days, March is time we have off, trying to look for more affordabel trip than Carribbean, but still nice.

Weather can be unpredictable in March, one day you may sit out, the next you may not...on that same note, we were riding our bikes on the beach yesterday afternoon and it's January!!!

March should be fairly mild w/a light fleece jacket taking care of any cooler weather needs.

March will definitely be too cool to swim and probably to sunbathe. However, last March (overall) we had a warm month. About the highest daily temp we had was mid 70's and the coldest daily high was about 46. The official Charleston daily highs went into the low 80's, but it is usually as much as 5 to 10 degrees cooler on the island than farther inland where the "official" temperature is taken. I live on the island, so know this first hand.

Should be nice enough to walk the beach, bike ride, etc.

At any rate.... should be much warmer than Michigan. :-D
