Will be in charleston in April for two days. Has anyone stayed at the Shem Creek Inn? Thoughts about this place and the area would be apprecited. How far to carriage tours etc.

All of the tours are in historic downtown Charleston. Shem Creek Inn is in Mt. Pleasant. It has scenic views of Shem Creek, where the shrimp boats dock and is surrounded by restaurants.

To go downtown, you will need to drive over the Ravenel (Cooper River) Bridge into downtown and park. About a 10-15 min trip.
