Good Conway, SC Restaurants

Can anyone recommend good restaurants in Conway, SC, (seafood, bbq, italian, mexican, or anything that is really good)??

We are going to vacation in Myrtle Beach in October and, sometimes, like to venture out to find good restaurants, away from the strip, etc.

Open for suggestions.

Thorny's on Hwy 501, but my disclaimer is, remember its HWY 501, and I would avoid it on a weekend. We use THE TRESTLE alot for catering, 308 Main St., Conway. Just opened up across from the entrance to Coastal Carolina University again on 501, is University Commons strip mall and several restaurants in there, Ratolli's ( I may have mispelled it) anyway some good Italian in that strip mall.

Swanie, we had a decent lunch at Sidewinder. It sits directly on the Waccamaw River in Conway. Try and get on the deck. Now if you want to visit a place that is extremely popular among the locals, there is a seafood shop on the river (downtown) that has a couple deep fryers. They will throw in a couple pieces of the fish of your choice (or the whole fish), fry it up, throw it on a couple slices of white bread, and put it in a brown paper bag. Sides can be sweet potatoe fries, rice w/ grease.... Don't recall name, but can't miss it as it sits on the river about 2 blocks from downtown, across from the hardware store and behind the historic church. There are picnic tables under a big banyan tree to eat.
