Fishing trips with kids

I plan on going to MB this summer with my kids ages 8 & 9 and wanted to know if its better to rent a boat or take the kids out on a fishing trip?

There are many places along the Grand Strand that offer charter fishing trips...half day...full day...overnight ...whatever you want... and includes rod and reel, bait, license, etc. If you google 'Myrtle Beach charter fishing', there is a list of business that pops up right away.

Pier fishing is another option. My kids always loved (and still love) to do that.

if your looking for cost efficent fishing any of the peirs at myrtle or even north myrtle don't cost to much to access and you can stay on there all day. Kids love it. I see many people fishing or just even walking along the peirs.. its very peaceful and a lot of fun. If not there are several places that do the boat fishing.
