Try Medieval Times or Dixie Stampede. Putt Putt is always a favorite of my daughter.

Definitely Medieval Times... (unless you think they would enjoy the honkey tonk pig chasing, ostrich riding, Dolly Parton loving Dixie Stampese more lol), also Broadway at the Beach is fun... with magiquest, and Ripley's Aquarium.

In addition to recommending all of the miniature golf courses, I've got quite a few other recommendations:

- Palace Theater has matinee' showings of Le Grande Cirque palacetheatremyrtlebeach.com/cirque_02.htm

- Ripley's Aquarium

http://www.ripleysaquarium.com/

- The old Pavilion area - have lunch at one of the oceanfront bars/ restaurants on the boardwalk (like Peaches Corner) and spend the rest of the day shopping (Gay Dolphin), going to arcades, the haunted house, wax museum, etc.

- Indoor go-cart racing and mini golf at Kart-Trax 3901 North Kings Highway,843-916-1111

- Indoor mini-golf and arcade at OD Arcade (Ocean Drive Arcade - North Myrtle Beach) http://oceandrivehappens.com/odarcade.aspx

- The SportsZone in Little River. Arcade, batting cages, Underdog family sports bar & grill, rollerskating, etc. 843-249-5465

- USS North Carolina in Wilmington.

- Jungle Princess cruise/ Pirates cruise out of Barefoot Landing 843-236-1700

-Alligator Adventure at Barefoot Landing, (4604 Highway 17 South North Myrtle Beach; 800-361-0789) www.alligatoradventure.com

-The town of Callabash has

- Multiple restaurants

- Callahan's gift shop

- Tropical Adventure mini-golf

- Children's Museum of South Carolina, 2501 North Kings Highway 843-946-9469 http://www.cmsckids.org/

- Ingram Planetarium at Sunset Beach (near Calabash) 910-575-0033 The Village at Sunset Beach, 7625 High Market Street, Sunset Beach, NC 28468

- Museum of Costal Carolina, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 910-579-1016

http://www.museumofcc.org/

- Nascar Speedpark for 6 go-cart tracks

http://www.nascarspeedpark.com/sc.aspx

- Wild Water and Wheels amusement area for waterslides, go-carts, and some other rides

http://www.wild-water.com/

- Family Kingdom Waterpark. We think this is the best little waterpark on the beach. You'll be surprised at how much they've fit into a small area! You can only see a little bit from the road:

Good luck and have fun.

Medieval Times and Dixie Stampede are both great shows. We preferred Medieval Times, though.

Our kids also enjoyed "One" the show at Alabama Theater. Good, clean family fun with one of the funniest comedians you'll ever hear.

T.I.G.E.R. Preserve is another neat adventure.

And, the Waccattee Zoo:

We have always enjoyed Medieval Times. The Family Kingdom Amusement Park is a good choice for an evening of entertainment for that age as well. The Saltwater Marsh Explorer trip at Captain D ick's in Murrell's Inlet is good too and very educational. http://www.captdicks.com/exp.htm

I agree, Family Kingdom amusement park is a must for kids, especially at night...then walk out to Ocean Blvd. and there are a couple of places to get ice cream cones. Of course it is not like the chain amusement parks, but the kids don't seem to care!

Have to disagree with the zoo. It took us all of about 15 mins to decide we could not tolerate the sad animals in unclean conditions. I am talking beyond normal zoo smells. To each his.her won, but we hated it!

The cirque ____ _____ show has a matinee that made it a great deal for an awesome show!
