Fourth of July weekend/week

We are coming down for two weeks that encompass the Fourth of July weekend. Do you guys find that people come just for the couple of days surrounding the holiday or stay for the whole week? It's on a Sunday this year so I didn't know whether people would stay the whole week or just head home Monday or Tuesday.

We're staying in a residential area between North Myrtle and Myrtle-proper... does that area have a name?

Most rentals will be weekly. Check in days are either Saturday or Sunday for the most part. Their is a residential section in NMB called Tilghman Beach....not sure if that's what you are referring too, however.

As for the hotels they will all have minimum stays. Some will require 3 nights and some will require 4 nights.

Some people will come the week before...some the week after.

So...those two weeks will be pretty crowded there.

Not sure what the area you are staying in is called. Arcadian SHores?, Briarcliff Acres? There are a few nice neighborhoods all along that area.

Have fun!
