That time of year, most any where you will be able to take your dog on the beach. Just be responsible and clean up. At our resort even owners cannot have pets on resort property, so a couple of times we have taken our 7 lb

miniature poodle to attend HOA meetings for a few days and stayed in the RED ROOF INN. It is about 3 blocks to the beach. There is a nice dog park in Sea Gate Village and a great kennel near Murrells Inlet, A DOGS WAY INN.

About 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach are the less congested beaches of Pawley's Island and Litchfield Beach. We have been going there for thirty years, and now bring our dog for a two week stay in the fall. Generally, pets are not allowed in condo rentals.

Ocean Park Resort on the south end of MB is pet friendly. We stayed there 3 yrs ago before it was a "pet friendly" resort. It is right on the beach and has received some upgrades since our visit, new elevators, etc.
